Pumpkin Garden Steamboat Kitchen @ 淋園小馆

Saturday night have dinner with girlfriends after shopping at KLCC, Pavilion, Fahrenheit88 and Sungei Wang. Have a long discussion with gf after shop for 4 hours because dinner. Downpour in KL area. Luckily no flood. But shoes get wet. KL long time no heavy rain after hot weather in weekday.

I become GPS when heading for our dinner. My gf not familiar with Cheras. Actually I not good too, but if nearby Jusco Maluri that area I'm still okay. Hahaha.. 

Arrived destination, park at restaurant outside. Choose air-conditioner place instead sitting outside. Hand and leg sticky after hit by rain. Kinda use wrong words. Hehehe.. 

What we have order was TWO side pot with Tomyum soup and Pumpkin porridge. Later on with ala-carte dish such as fishball, Enoki mushroom, beancurd skin, Chinese cabbage, imported beef slice, quail egg, fish wanton, vege ball, dumpling and fish noodles.

All came in small portion but high price. Waitress told us all dish come in little so need order more. I'm thinking why you said like that? You working at there. I guess everyone came here just to have pumpkin porridge. When eating porridge kinda like not porridge as don't have any rice. Just smell like porridge when taste it. Maybe too blend till smooth and they add egg too. Not sure why they add in?? 

We keep scoop on pumpkin porridge to prevent burnt. Leaving behind on Tomyum soup. But starting with porridge then later Tomyum. Most of the dish put at soup then porridge. Might scared porridge have different taste. 

Almost finish up half of soup pot, we call waitress to refill again for our second round stomach. Girls do have second stomach. Hahaha.. 

After a long Chit-chat for 2 hours plus, time for bill. Thanks Kar Yi treat Amanda and I for dinner. As she owe us Haagen Daaz Ice-Cream. Forgot the reason why Kar Yi owing us ice-cream? Nevermind, got steamboat that enough. Very pricey when bill came out.

Acme Bar & Coffee @ The Troika

Oh La La..

Finally went to Acme Bar & Coffee with girlfriends. Based on Lipstiq website, was said Famous Coffee Cafe in KL. So I went there give it a kick.

Arrived there around 2.30pm and full house. Need wait around 30 minutes only my turn. Douh... Luckily got few chair and sofa for gf and I to sit. Next time going for lunch or tea-time must call for reservation or else walk-in and leave your name and how many person.

We wait, and wait and finally till us. Given a menu in a pieces of paper and not many things to see. They got Breakfast Club set that available from 9am-5pm. I never know that breakfast can last long till 5pm. Hahaha..

Roughly capture front piece of menu. They got new dish for Spring. And coffee just few type. Cappucino, Flat White, Latte, Cold Brew Coffee, Espresso, Double Espresso and Macchiato. No additional charges for coffee art. Sometime Barista draw love or leaf art. But I inform waitress I want a different art out of above.

Above is the foods gf and I have order. I don't really like the foods I have order. I made a mistake when order. "Shrimp" word attracted me. What I want to order was Pasta Primavera ( New Spring ) dish.

So sad!!!!!!! 

Around 4.15pm want to pay bill, something had happen. My gf paid with Citibank Credit Card and the bill come out with different card name. My gf told waiter not her card. He check again. Come again with same CC again. He don't really understand what we saying. Double swipe in other people CC. Pity Mr Tan xxxx Eng" card. They need void and made it correctly. Took quite a long time till my gf and I have second bottle of water. While waiting went to restroom. You never expect restroom have different design of mirror. No separating for woman and man restroom.

The day have come, I have received invitation from Nuffnang to join their birthday party. First time went as Blogger instead contest winners. Guess I need improve and share more event happen in Malaysia or Overseas. 

Arrived destination in hot weather, wearing black and white. As Nuffnang party theme is James Bond : Lost in Amazon. Went in as blogger instead look like Bond Girl. Environment at there quite good and hot. Luckily have portable air-conditioner unit. If not, I keep sweating and make-up ruin. Hahahaha..

While checking out prizes and games, staff at Barbecue Garden serve light refreshment before dinner. Got shrimp fruit, preserved fried chicken, popiah etc. I just ate few types as so busy walking around and taking picture especially the banner at main entrance.

This movie about our History @ Sejarah text book. But not all the contents are in there. As some history is from different country. I never expect George Washington (1st U.S President), William Shakespeare (Poet), Albert Einstein (Theoretical Physicist), Abraham Lincoln (16th U.S President), Issac Newton (Scientist), King Tut (18th Dynasty young King), Marie Antoinette (Queen of France), Leonardo Da Vinci (Painter), Mona Lisa and Bill Clinton (42nd U.S President) in this movie. Is really a good movie for children that above 13 years old. 

Why this movie not below 13 years old?

Because they won't understand or too young to know it. 

Mr Peabody is a smartest dog that can talk and got his honor of Master. What he like? Zumba, calculation, seldom barking, debate etc. One day, he saw a box contain baby Sherman. Mr Peabody in his mind is to adopt the baby. Is really look like him (Mr Peabody) in spectacles. While Sherman growing up, Mr Peabody bring him go different place with WABAC (Time Machine) to understand every details of history. If make any mistake in past will change in present. They really make a mistake with TWO Mr Peabody & Sherman when travel back from Greece to present. OH NO!!!! I become a spoiler now but I just review the movie.

Opps, I forgot talk about Penny. Who is Penny? A girl classmate with Sherman. She bullier that saying Sherman is a dog too as raise by Mr Peabody. Owh, so sad to hear that. Nowadays without human there are no man best friend that is pet. Pet also can take care someone. Like Two dog, Baby & Bobo always fighting but end up become friendly. 

Back to story, Penny always cause trouble till Mr Peabody need meet school Principal and Mrs Grunion (Department of Child xxxx). Mr Peabody need prepare a lot things like foods and entertain Penny parents to avoid Mrs Grunion taken back adoption of Sherman. Penny use WABAC machine and went Egypt to married King Tut. Is that funny? She said after he died, she will inherit all his property. But actually can't. Long time ago, King Tut pass away in young age and his wife need companion too but dig all her intestine, put at Earthenware (Tembikar). Scary, right? Is old time story.. Problem started from Egypt to New York to France and back to present.
